Walk with Me

As a holistic trainer, I recognise that our emotions can influence our dogs. This is a space not only to practise practical training skills, but also to reflect on the emotional side of dog ownership in a supportive environment.
Together we can navigate the moments that feel hardest — exciting environments, unexpected off-lead dogs, challenging public interactions etc. — slowing things down and responding with clarity rather than reacting in stress.
I also recognise that for some people — particularly those who are neurodivergent or who may find busy or unpredictable environments overwhelming — these moments can feel especially intense or difficult to manage. As a neurodivergent woman myself, I understand that communication and public interactions aren’t always straightforward. Over time, I’ve developed clear, practical ways of working that help keep things manageable, reduce pressure, and create a calmer experience.
Together we can build your ability to remain regulated, thoughtful and proactive in shared spaces. We can also explore what it means to be a safe and responsible dog guardian, including awareness of relevant dog law and public etiquette, so you can walk your dog with confidence and integrity.
Session Details
Each Walk with Me session lasts 1 hour and takes place in a real-life walking environment. We will agree on a suitable location together via WhatsApp prior to your appointment, ensuring it feels appropriate for both you and your dog.
Sessions are £45.
What to Expect
These walks are a space for both you and your dog.
We’ll work together in real-life environments, supporting you through whatever comes up — whether that’s training in the moment, talking things through, or simply having someone alongside you while you build confidence.
There’s no expectation to “get things right”. We go at a pace that feels manageable, focusing on thoughtful, responsive handling rather than perfection.
Boundaries & Approach
To keep this space supportive and sustainable for everyone:
• These walks are collaborative — I’ll guide and support you, but you’ll be actively involved in the process.
• I work in a holistic, welfare-led way, considering both human and dog emotions as part of the training.
• This is a non-judgemental space, but also an honest one — I may gently challenge things where it helps you and your dog move forward.
• While I offer emotional support and space to talk, this is not a substitute for professional mental health support where that is needed.
